We are very proud to officially announce that our 2016 Golf Party for Shelter raised a total of $27,163.68!
These are funds will directly benefit local women’s and children’s transition houses
in the Greater Victoria and Sooke areas.
Those shelters are critically important in helping to break the cycle of domestic violence and provide a starting point for women and children to start working towards a better, safer future.
This year’s result of $27,163.68 was our BEST EVER!
It was all made possible by 116 golfers, 56 Hole Sponsors, 9 Gold Sponsors,
2 Hole In One contest sponsors, cash donors, and the many prize and auction items donors.
We are grateful for and humbled by your support.
We are presenting the funds to representatives of the local shelters on Thursday Nov 24th.
There will also be a ‘thank you’ announcement that will run in the Black Press Community papers soon after the cheque presentation.
We hope to see you next year!
